I was just wondering how long a warrent for not paying fines for a DUI and underage comsumption last in Ohio. I heard something about a 7 years clause that like after 7 years it goes away but I'm not sure on that one.

Best Answer :

The warrant has been issued, thus the judge has determined that there is sufficient probable cause to charge you with a crime. The warrant will not ever go away until you are arrested or appear before a judge. Your are confusing this circumstance with statute of limitations. Since, you have technically been charged with a crime there is no longer a statute of limitations.

Other Answer(1) :

Warrants never expire they remain in existence for the remainder of your life unless resolved in a court of law.
